Limited (Formerly SRL Ranbaxy Ltd.) is the largest and most trusted
pathology laboratory network in India, servicing nearly 4,000 hospitals/path labs and
over 50,000 doctors. SRL performs over 34000 tests/day and caters to approximately 8 million
patients in a year offering a comprehensive range of over 3,500 tests, from the
routine to the highly specialized tests. The tests are based on more than 200 technologies
covering most known diseases.
SRL intends to establish its physical presence in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia by setting up Reference Laboratories, one in each area, in order to cater to the specialized test requirements of the countries in these regions. It also wishes to expand its operations to the countries in Africa and North America in order to tap the out sourcing opportunities in these continents.
